Here at 1st Class we offer independent, friendly and honest advice on all motorcycle requirements. Our staff are highly experienced riders and all 1st Class instructors are fully approved by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA)

We use amongst the latest in bike to bike communication equipment to offer you the highest standards in safety and to give you the best preparation for your test.

1st Class also offer full licence refresher courses for those wanting to return to motorcycling after a break or those who are progressing up to a larger machine and are wanting to improve their riding skills.

Motorcycle hire is available for all our courses and includes fuel and fully comprehensive insurance.

Also available for student use are helments, gloves and waterproof clothing at no extra cost!!!

Dartmoor Motorcycle Training & Services pride themselves in providing the highest standard of motorcycle and scooter rider training. DMTS do so by drawing on many years of experience and knowledge. Their aim is to give each student rider the road craft skills they require to carry on learning on their own, take the full test, or develop advanced skills. All riders are treated to the same courteous manner and encouraged to find their enjoyment of the open road using a motorbike or scooter.

DAM - Devon Advanced Motorists

DAM is part of the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) and is affiliated to the British Motorcycle Federation (BMF).

The principal aim of the group, is to promote road safety by raising riding skills. with the ultimate goal of passing the Advanced Motorcycle Test. The Advanced Test is about making safe smooth progress with maximum hazard awareness and machine control. It closely mirrors the techniques taught to police riders throughout the country.

PAM - Plymouth Advanced Motorists

PAM - If you live in the Plymouth area then the Plymouth Advanced Motorcyclists group (PAM) is your local IAM affiliated group. PAM is run by enthusiastic and friendly volunteers and we are always interested in welcoming new people.

PAM group exists in order to help you become a safer rider; by supporting your preparation for the Advanced Test. This support mainly takes the form of observed one-to-one ride outs, but also includes specific group ride outs, group meeting presentations and of course general support from both fellow Associate and Full members.

The team at Surepass includes the most qualified instructors in Plymouth and they are able to offer CBT, A2, DAS and Advanced courses. The Chief Instructor is also the Southwest Advanced Examiner for BMF and DIAmond so we won't just train you, you can actually take your Advanced Test at Surepass. Surepass is also the only Motorcycle Training school in the entire COUNTRY to have an Open College Network Accreditation. This means you can actually obtain an official qualification (NVQ and above) in all aspects of motorcycle riding.
